Following the success of the Makkah Clock Tower project, INT global was awarded with several special packages within the Shamiya expansion project. Including being appointed as led quality control consultant for all special packages in this phase of the Makkah Haram Expansion.
01 I LED LUMINARIES
Assembly of LED Linear Luminaries in gold plated housings, laying of electrical installation, wiring control boxes and final testing & commissioning.
Total length of LED luminaries: 7,565 m,
total length of installed cables: 100,000 m
Manpower team:
20-60 electricians and technicians
Working on heights ranging from 6 m to 28,5 m
02 I CEREMONIAL DOME
The Ceremonial Dome is more than just an architectural highlight. The movable dome is designed to be opened when the weather is favorable, but also to automatically open in the event of an emergency to enable smoke extraction. INT global scope includes installation and commissioning of:
The LED lights,
The drive train featuring eight 30kw gear motors ·
The fire alarm system.

03 I MOVABLE SKYLIGHTS
Installation of 12 motorized movable skylights across the Haram expansion each equipped with:
8 single trolleys, paired into 4 tandem carriages,
to offer a fail-safe redundancy
Each skylight die driven by 2 gear motors in a master and slave control configuration
All cables are pulled and connected to the skylight through stainless steel energy chains
04 I MOBILE MATAF LED LIGHT SYSTEM
Installation of the LED Light system into decorative ceiling panels. Setup of the fibre optic network to link up all the software controlled LED lights.

05 I SOUTH ELEVATION SCREENS
Installation of gold plated, electro-motorized, sensor controlled glass doors.
Central control and monitoring of all systems
INT global technicians were specially trained to install the elements by the manufacturer in Germany
06 I MECHANICAL INSTALLATIONS IN MINARETS 1 & 4
Installation of various steel constructions
inside minarets including platforms,
brackets and all mechanical installations
07 I NORTH BRIDGES GLAS FACADE
N SCREENS
Installation of special facade elements,
made of steel, aluminium, and glass, with electrically controlled sliding glass components.
Total 72 arched openings on 4 bridges
Total glass surface: 12,000 square meter
08 I QUALITY CONTROL & ON-SITE ENGINEERING SERVICES
Ongoing quality control of all special packages of the Haram expansion to ensure all contractors provide a complete and properly constructed product in accordance with all standards, plans and documentation.
